a mother's day creative catch

Wishing a very happy Mother's Day to everyone out there! My creative catch for today came from.....my workspace! Here are two handmade cards that I made for my Mom and my sister who is expecting her first child. Click on the picture to see the full sized version.
Although I prefer scrapbooking to cardmaking, I love to give handmade gifts that have meaning to them. And I make them for my enjoyment primarily, for example I know that my Mom will really enjoy the time I put into the cards, but my sister? Not so much. And that's okay with me, I really love how they turned out.
