December Daily 2010 - days 6 and 7

I have days six and seven ready to show!  Here is day six, I wanted to show some of my favorite holiday catalogs this year (under the Land's End catalog page are a few other ones that I really like), I just cut them down, stacked them together and sewed across the top to hold them all in place.

The "Give Joyfully" and the snowflake rectangle were also pages from those catalogs too.

Here is day seven,

This is my favorite page so far.  We had an online holiday card last year to help save money, but it really wasn't the same.  I love Christmas cards!  So this year, I decided to bend the rules a little bit and do what I wanted to do.  So this year we have cards!  I love them.

You'll see that the typed message on this page is less than perfect - there are a few double spaces in the middle of words and the margins are a bit off too.  But that's how I know that I typed that message on my Dad's old typewriter (it is super finicky and will double space at random).  And that makes me happy.

As always, just shoot me an email or leave a comment if you have any questions or comments, have a wonderful day!

  1. What a great idea to recycle the Lands End catalogue.

  2. Love that you have a something typed on a typewriter in your journal. So very cool.

  3. Love it! I've got that Land's End catalog set aside too ... just not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

  4. Thanks Ladies! There is also a Pottery Barn catalog page and a L.L.Bean Catalog page in there too.

  5. Thank you Kisiwa! It's my Dad's old typewriter, I remember playing on it when I was a little kid =0)
